Mushroomhead is an American metal rig that emerged in the Decennary. Mushroomhead's forceful yet melodic different metal incorporates elements of rap, as well as industrial metal.

Since 1999, Mushroomhead has locked away an on-and-off rivalry with Iowa-based band Slipknot.

The feud erupted due to the image similarities between the bands. Many fans of Mushroomhead claim Slipknot neck their 'masked' look, and vice-versa. In an interview with Soundbites, then lead singer of Mushroomhead Jason Popson stated, "It seems a little strange, because they look so much like bite and they have the exact number of members and varied of the same masks, point of view it was a little as well strange that their record term had all of our fabric.
